iv been looking at hks hiper's iv noticed that big ass thing where the pipes split to go to the mufflers, im assuming its a resonater

has anybody removed that piece, if so what did it do, did it get louder, iv heard couple cars with hipers and they werent that loud, i like loud car they dont bother me at all

also what size is the piping on the hipers
