Default Modifry redline shift beeper inconsistent

I just got back from a day at the track (Laguna Seca). During my 5 sessions, my year-old Modifry redline shift beeper worked only sometimes. I'd come out of one turn and it would work, then the next turn nothing. Stayed that way all day, with no pattern to it. I've never had this problem with it before. In addition to loose wires (which I'll check fot tomorrow), any thoughts on a cause?

Under heavy accel and harsh bumps, the beeper will fail, until you restart the car. I've only had this problem on horrible back roads once.

In my experience, to get the beeper to work 100% of the time, I had to wait a few seconds, before starting the car to get it to beep consistently.

But I've never had the problem you describe happen to me on track. You're probably correct in thinking the problem is with a loose wire somewhere.

aer you guys using t-taps to the wires? t-taps have the worst contact ever. get someone to cut the wire, splice it correctly + heat shrink it.

Make sure the fuse holder is good. He had a bad batch. I had to replace mine.

If physical forces are affecting it your connections are loose. There is nothing in the design that would cause it to fail in that manor.

I wouldn't go that far. My connections are soldered in and I get phantom beeps whenever I hit any sizeable bumps.

Mine stopped working and it turned out to be the copper stranded power wire was breaking at a crimp one strand at a time. A few weeks after it stopped working the wire showed up hanging down.
