Mugen and Spoon header questions
all i know is in Japan, the Mugen header is still the most popular one...if those hardcore racers in Japan still have them on their cars, I dont see a point to take it out and swap it with amuse/toda
I track my car and the heatshield comes with the Mugen header helps.

interesting.
kekoa - i wonder if this header will give you more of a smooth power band. Ya know, you put a couple of things together and the car overall feels better.
i will try and get a dyno of it up soon.

All I know is that Prolene swapped his Mugen for a Toda and picked up significant hp across the range.
I'm selling my Mugen. Anyone want it? $850 - a great deal since it works just like new (doesn't quite look it, but hey...)

I am suprised a lot of ppl stated that they found significant gain from the i/e/h combo of a NA S2000
the S2000 is well tuned and you will be lucky if you gain a total of 10hp outta your i/e/h/TB combo, I highly doubt if the 10hp gain can be that noticeable.
The only mod that mades a significant difference on my car is the Mugen ECU

Yeah, he gained _10 hp_ _over_ the Mugen header. That's about 4% more power to the wheels. That, my friend, is significant. I was surprised as hell, but it didn't stop me from pulling the Mugen off my car.
BTW, we're now seeing cars gain a total of 25 hp or so from I/H/E and Mugen ECU. A little less if you substitute the VAFC for the Mugen ECU.
I picked up 13 hp on my car with a CAI and experimental ECU mod (stock exhaust). The gains are there, you just have to find them.
