Can someone with an '06 take a look at their dash at night and see if the left side (radio controls, etc.) appear dimmer then the rest of the dash? Also does the + and - for dimmer control affect the dash itself only or does it also affect the A/C Vent controls and the radio controls? Thanks!

To answer your question, yes the radio controls are much dimmer than the rest of the dash lights, they do adjust with the others, but the brightest setting is still pretty dim.

I forgot to check the a/c controls, Damn, I guess I'll have to take it out again.

I've noticed that on mine as well. The left side radio controls were brighter on my 2004.

 

ha! well thanks for checking, at least it's not just my car. not a huge deal, but i just wanted to make sure it wasn't something i needed to get addressed. kind of a good answer actually, as I really didn't want my dealer to tear up the dash apart for a stupid light.

 

yes your findings as well as others confirm that my car too is defective

 

cause we got a inline 4.. replace your battery.

 

that has nothing to do with it.
