Default Is my clutch assembly super worn?

My trans wouldn’t shift smoothly into gear and I paid 3k to have the synchros done. Shop is telling me I need a whole new clutch assembly but I literally just bought a new OEM kit for it less than 10,000 miles ago. As you can see there are some heat spots on the pressure plate, but does the flywheel need to be replaced or resurfaced? They’re trying to charge me 180 for the resurfacing of the flywheel, 250 for a clutch release bearing, 30 for the throw out bearing and 700 for the pressure plate. It’s hard me to understand how all of this could go within 10k miles especially since I don’t abuse the car. They said the clutch disc is fine. I see people going. 140k+ on the same clutch. Is it necessary to replace the clutch release bearing and the throw out bearing if I just got it done? Does the flywheel even need resurfacing? It’s an ACT prolite flywheel. Any opinions highly appreciated. I feel like I’m getting played.

Does this disc have 10K miles on it? Seems like a very uneven wear. The rivet in the yellow circle appears to have worn on the flywheel.

Yes it does, I had the release bearing, release bearing guide, throw out bearing, pressure plate & friction disc all done.

Well, the disc looks worn to the rivet heads in a couple of spots. So that flywheel may be warped. Did they test for runout?

Who did the clutch work, 10 K-miles ago?

Thanks

To me it sounds like they didn't bleed the clutch hydraulics properly.

Looks like the disc spine is rusty as well.

Sure does not look like a 10,000 mile clutch to me. Sure they actually replaced it?

Also clutch release bearing is the throwout bearing. I think you (or they) mean the pilot bearing and release bearing? Pricing is closer to those parts based upon what you stated.
