EPS = Electronic Power Steering

We dont have power steering fluid. Its all electrical. You should get a hold of a scan tool and see what code it brings up.

You gotta change the blinker fluids while you're at it!

jk. We dont' have power steering fluid because it's electrical. Does the EPS light stay on? If so, try to read the code off a scanner.

Lemmi know if you need help.

I have an 02 and had a problem similar to yours.

Check your alternator, and battery. You may not be getting the proper voltage.

I had to change my alternator and everything was fine after that.

You need the EPS codes before guessing what is wrong with the system. You don't have a yellowbox installed do you?

I did say have your alterator checked. Any auto parts store can check it for you. Having the codes check will help.
I had a new Battery as well.
Not saying we have the exact same problem, but after driving it a few more days my car shut down since it needs power to run, lights, ECU to fire properly.

Rebuilt alterator cost 200, labor none. I changed it myself.

You just have to trouble shoot.
