Default My Primary 02 Sensor is junked... where to buy?

So latelt my car has been acting bad. It was stalling on me, engine misfires at idle, etc.
i went to check it out, seems to be the pre-cat o2 sensor. At advance auto parts they told me its 250$ !!!! I know for other Hondas that theyare like 50 bucks. I saw ebay has a bunch for cheap but I started reading on here that they won't work? whats this about?

Please Tell me where I can get one the cheapest so I dont have to spend that much money.

If you're willing to do some wiring and assembly, I believe you can use a Bosch universal sensor which should run about $50 and are widely available. The plug and play ones run $200+.

I'm in the same situation, do you know where i can get information on what to do to the bosch universal?

I think the oil from my K&N Filter killed my sensor.

How much mileage do you have on your S? The reason I ask is that all emission control devices are warrantied up to 80k miles. This includes the CAT and all the sensors around it. Since You have an '06, I figured you have less than 80k miles on it...Or do you?

o2 sensors are only warrantied for 3yrs/50k miles. 3yrs being from the delivery date. I just had this problem last week where I was throwing p2A00 (Primary o2 sensor a/f out of range); luckily my 06 wasnt bought until 2008 O.o unless the dealership blatantly lied to me, but my local honda service department is very un-sketchy

^^ Interesting, A friend of mine(who is a tech at a local Honda dealership) said that the sensors around the CAT should be covered under the 8yr/80k mile emission control warranty. Especially the sensor going into the CAT.
