Default Are my rear brakes Seized?

Whats Up?
Need a little insight please. The last few days I have noticed excessive brake dust on my rear wheels only. Today I had to make a sudden stop and as I slammed on my brakes the rear end almost slid away from me. I checked my brake pads and noticed that they seem to be wearing very fast and more so on the right passenger side. If I put my car in Neutral on an incline with out using the e brake the car doesnt move. Do you think its the calipers, or the ebrake ? Any help would greatly be appreciated..thanks..If it matters I hade new pads put on about 3,000 miles ago and never had a problem until the past week or so.

Check the clearance and or have someone visiually inspect it when lifted.

Try pressing the brakes and seeing if they move.

Sounds like a stuck caliper or dragging ebrake. How many miles are on the car?

One way to test is to drive around for a while and then see if one or both of your rear wheels/hubs is noticeably hotter than the other or the fronts.

Thanks for the insight. I have 58,500 it's a 2000. I do notice an odd smell from the rear wheels after a drive. It seems like the e brake may be the problem, but than again it could be the calipers because the car doesnt move while in neutral.

I'd get that looked at right away. You're likely to ruin more parts the longer you drive it that way.

Ok, Thanks Man..At this point I dont feel comfortable taking it to Honda to have it checked out. as we all have had our experiences with the dealerships, I know they will say you need this, that and the other thing...The dealership near me in New Jersey insists on 10w20 oil for my car. In fact they changed my brake and clutch fluid out around 1,000 miles ago. its like pulling teeth trying to explain to them whats right for our cars..Ok I will figure sumthin out. thanks for all the help..
