Can you get it into gear with the engine not running?

Check your clutch fluid reservoir, it's next to the brake fluid reservoir.

If it's empty and you're stranded use a straw to transfer fluid from your brake fluid to put in your clutch fluid reservoir. (use a clean straw ) you only need a bit.

You'll need to bleed it since it's sucked up air assuming it was empty.

Remove the fill plug on the tranny, if it's full it should leak out a little bit. If the tranny does not have transmission fluid, thats a problem.
