Default My S2K wont start :-(

I've owned the car mabye 2 weeks now, and this is the 2nd time it hasn't started. The first time i was on a hill where i parked so i jus coasted down and just started it with the clutch. Its sitting the garage this time and it jus clicks but doesn't even attempt to start up, after the first time it didnt do it for a good 10-15 starts. I dont know if this is a problem i tried to look up someone with a similar issue but couldnt find anything. help!

Thanks

Sounds like you need a new battery.

could be somethign draining the battery or the starter is pulling too much. Check the cables to see if they turn by hand or if they are corroded.

I would still check the battery.

I had a similar situation. I put a new battery in about a year ago, then about 3 months ago if the car sat for mre than a few days it would not start. The dash would light up and the starter would click, but the engine would not turn over. It turned out that the battery had a bad cell in it and I got it replaced. Since then not a problem.

Check also for loose ground wire(s) connections.

Hello every one, i am the Previous owner of his S2K

The battery is a brand new Honda battery that I replace not long ago.

I had this problem 1 time, but I never thought much about it.
It has happen to him about 2 times already in the past week (?)

I always thought it could have been the starter solenoid.

I called a local parts store and they do not have any thing listed
He said he believes it

It could just be a loose connection on the battery terminal.

Make sure they are clean and tight.

If there is any kind of biuld up or they are loose, a brand new battery will not have enough.

Your radio requires very little strain on your battery to work. Your starter requires a hugh amount of amps to get going.

CHECK YOUR BATTERY AND CONNECTIONS!
