Anyone know the reason for a slight color change?

IF there is a color difference, It is probably just to justify a price difference.

I have even gotten the opinions of some of my coworkers, and noone can tell a difference between my front ('02) wheel and my back ('01) wheel.

There have been some complaints (mostly with the European wheels which were/are different) regarding how well the paint / clearcoat holds up to road wear. It is just speculation, but perhaps there was a change in coating that has a different tint (at least when it is new).
