my06 mods
okay, so i know that there are plenty of threads about this, but none really seem to answer the questions that i have. i recently purchased a my06 and i can't seem to find any cai's or exhaust. i was told that nobody makes a cai for the my06. is this true? and if so am i screwed? also i was wondering if previous model exhaust will fit my car. i was looking at the hks hipower. any input would be great. and remember i am new to this forum and the car. thank you

The exhaust for any 04 and newer car will fit. The CAI's for earlier cars will have to be modified to mount the IAT sensor inside the tube.

The AEM is easily modifiable to work on the 06 just have to drill a hole and cap a nipple. im also running a test pipe which is a lil tricky in keeping the cel off but i have good luck with it

all depends on the exhaust... my spugen single (which fits 00-05) would NOT fit my 06... i had to mod the pipe... and j's does not fit either.. there was a big exhaust fit thread somewhere..
