Default Mystery Cable in Trunk

Recently I've been looking into installing some new speakers. Anyways i was having a look at my current speakers and in the trunk because i might install an amp there when i came across a cable that has been spliced from the wiring harness.
If anybody has any ideas as to what this is please post them
Thanks!

Looks like the BUS cable which came with the exchanger. The dealer had to "fit and finish",the install. efforts varied....

It also might be an XM radio connector.
