From what I can tell there is no separate part. It appears that there is a stud as part of the upper control arm that goes through the knuckle to form a ball joint.

Here is a link to the Majestic Honda parts page for the knuckle which includes the control arms. Check it out and see if you agree.

Ya, I just looked it up on SomeData and the upper ball joint is not a separate piece. The upper control arm will have to be replaced along with the upper ball joint.

I would just call your local Honda dealership's Parts Dept. and ask if they sell front upper ball joints for S2000s. They may be sold separately, but you'll likely need a press to install them. An air hammer and 8lb sledge should do the trick, though.

mtm584,

If you need a replacement ball joint and/or upper control arm, PM me and maybe we can work something out. I have a bunch of shit that I pulled off my S2000 before the conversion (complete suspensions, engine/tranny/ECU, drive shaft, rearend, CV joints, radiator core support, brake master cylinder, washer fluid tank/pump, steering gear, and so on).

I'm just trying to get rid of some of this shit. You pay for shipping and it's yours.

Sorry for diversion...

alex20fc, what kind of conversion did you do? It sounds a bit extensive? Got any pictures of your car or links to pictures?
