Can you get a drill onto it? If so, just drill it out.

I may have a drill id have to check in the garage. Theres also an autozone less than a mile from here.
What should I do to prevent the other bolts from the same fate?

This is a common problem on most vehicles...

As a mechanic I see this on a daily basis, and this always happens to me.

Here is the easiest and simplest solution...

1. remove the catalytic converter.
2. now you should see 3 stud bolts sticking out, one of the three is the one that has snapped.
3. get a metal hammer (rubber mallets won't do anything).
4. place the header side of the catalytic converter flat on the ground. the stud bolts should now be facing up.
5. have someone (or you can) hold down the catalytic converter on the ground.
6. spray wd40 or similar penetrating lubricant on stud, wait for a bit...
7. grab the mallet and pound out the stud.

this works, this just happened to me yesterday while working on a friends 07 s2000. it only took me 3 good whacks to the stud and it came right out.

good luck. if you have any questions let me know I've done this a billion times. oh, and don't worry about damaging the catalytic converter it's pretty sturdy as long as you hold it securely while hitting the stud with the hammer.

I didnt realize until earlier today that me breaking the nut had nothing to do with taking the cat off . Needless to say, I got the test pipe on and love the sound and feel of the car!
