Default Need Help For ARC intake installation...

Hi guys,
First of all, I searched thru the forum bt I guess I was no luck.

BTW, I was planning to get the ARC intake system.
But came across the topic where people were saying that they have to relocate the A/C line in order for this intake to fit due to ARC intake is designed for RHS car only. Not for USDM. Then I also came across people saying that the intake actually fits the 02+ model with no problems.

Can anybody help me on this.

What do I have to do for the A/C line if it still does not fit MY02?

All helps are really appreciated.
Thanks guys

Eric

Further review will find that while it looks good it yields a negative increase in horsepower.....which is why it is hard to get info on here.

I believe you can make it fit by bending the AC lines further back.

I had no problem with fitment in my car. As far as power gain, I read on here somewhere that it actually increases midrange hp and tq by a little, though it may hurt it in the top end. I don't notice any diff personally, except for better throttle response.

you'll need to notch the frame to drop your AC lines on 00 and 01... as for the negative gain, that's a bunch of hypothetical bull shit. show me a dyno, because I can show you mine... noone who has criticised this item has any numbers to back it up, they only say that the intake temps must be high, which is easily fixed...
