Default Need help. Loud noise

Wow so I do not know what is going on.

I drove last night to a restaurant, car was 100% perfect. It was raining so the car did not go above 5k rpms.

-Parked my car to eat
-Hour later I come back out, mind you it was raining.
-Start car... slowly begin to pull out and I hear a tapping sound from what appears to be under the passenger seat or the front right wheel. This sound is not engine related but goes hand in hand with speed. The faster the car the louder the slapping sound. I can't even hear my invidia over it.

Here's the weird thing. This sound instantly stops when I turn the wheel to the right. It is Loud as nuts when the wheel is straight. It is at its loudest when the wheel is turned to the left.

Remember this multiplies depending upon speed. It is Not hydrolock or engine related. I can run the engine and rev it and its smooth as butter. Its coming from the right front wheel to possibly the transmission. What could it be??

The car runs great and shifts perfect. I'm just at a lost being under the car at what could be the problem. I can take a video if needed.

Once again I'm 100% sure it's not engine related. Any ideas.

Jack up that corner and try shaking the wheel. Also check your lugs.

tried... It's not the suspension.. Lugs are good.. Took off wheels and put them back on. Noise still came back..... hmmm... Everything looks great under the car. Maybe something inside the synchros? But that would not make sense due to the car shifting perfectly in every gear....

This is the first time I've been clueless to a car problem. I need s2ki to solve this one for me.

The noise is barely heard from outside the car but inside OMG I can't even think.

Oh shit,

on the second picture, you can see one of the bolts came off and the metal thing that is attached to them is loose ... thats hitting the underside of your car and making the noise.

See picture below.

Your right!!!!!!!!!!!! Good eyes

You solved it. I just spun the shaft around and that piece flings around hitting the sides.

Your the man! Thanks a bunch. Now I need to just get another bolt and tighten everything down.

I wonder how that came loose and the other bolt looks like it was ready to go. I need to check this area more often.

Has it ever been worked on? It's hard to loosen those on purpose!

Honda changed the pressure plate and 2nd gear synchro at around 5k. I have 20k now.

Other than that it hasn't been touched!
