Default Need help on my car

MY 2000 with 25k miles.
New S 03 on all four wheels.
Never clutch drop the car.
No mods on the car (perf wise)

Problem:
I started driving my car in a sunny day on a smooth highway. When I Vtec on first gear, no problem. After shifting to second gear, on 5k, it just start shaking. I checked the tire pressure on all four tires. Checked the rims (if it is loose). I drove it swirving left and right and it still looks and feels solid. Specially in turns. I just think that something wrong under the car. My car has no mods.
It just feels like I am driving on a dirt road, up and down motion. The steering wheel shakes a little bit too. It only happens on the Vtec on second gear and third also, fourth, fifth and sixth. I kept driving it and hoping that it will go away.

Can somebody help me.
thanks

"New S03"

Sounds like you threw a weight. Have your tires re-balanced and the problem will go away.........

I have this with the s02s.
To me it feels like I'm driving a car with way too much power for the tires. I know this is not the case though. I will try to have them balanced again.

Just a thought, could it be time to replace the differential fluid?
I don't know. With 22000 miles it is not a bad idea.

Now that I looked at my rims, I dont see any wheel weights on them except for one of the rims which is in the front. That might be the problem but, the problem is just showing up now. I got the tires 3 months ago and never have the feeling I am feeling now.

I did my rear diff fluid on 15k. The dealer ripped me off. Its a long story to tell prior to this ripping me off. After that, I just didnt go back to the same dealer. but yeah, I did change the diff fluid on 15k.

I have an appt tom morning at the dealer to get my car checked out. I just hope those are the problems that they will tell me, diff fluid and wheel weights. I hope its not too costly.

I just got back from the dealer around 8:30 am and said that they will call me back because they have to call California.
I asked the guy why they have to call to California. The serv rep said that the S2k have a lot of problems. In my head, I was thinking, I dont think these people are well trained yet to take care of S2k's.
They didnt call me back so I called them back and said that I will be needing a CV joint for my car. They have to ship it from California and should be here any day. And then I asked if its under warranty, and he said yes.

what is a CV joint do anyway? I mean, I dont even drive my car that hard and the CV joint needs to be replaced right away? Thank goodness that its under warranty. I hope the problem would go away after this.

Well my $0.02 is that if this shaking is under acceleration ONLY and especially when making right hand turns then tell the dealer to look into a CV joint issue. Have them talk to Corp Honda. THEY KNOW ABOUT THIS ISSUE!!!!!

Good luck.

were there a recall on the cv joints?
how do the go bad? that is pretty fast they go bad like that.

schatten and nhobbes,
I know the weights are inside the rims. I looked at the rims closely too.

pinky,
only when you accelerate, not on turns. the way i feel it, it shakes when i step on the gas. starting about 4k rpm. its really bad because when i saw my side view mirror, it was shaking too.
when i have it under 4k rpm or if i just steady my accelerator, you barely feel it.

anyway, i am jus waiting for the cv joints to come here from california.
can anybody answer this, how come that everytime that they have a questions about the S2k, they call california first. and why dont they give us the phone number so we can call ourselves? i think that might be easier for the owners.
