If your concern is that the left projector is LOWER than the right one, sleep well. That's the way it's supposed to be.

If you park against a wall your pattern should look like this....

^ I don't think that's the problem dru5o4 was talking about.

It looks as though the left (driver's side) projector is being cut off just to the sides of the height change. So instead of looking like this:

The left side is supposed to be lower than the right.

The left level is actually too high from what I can see; it's peak should be aligned with the trough of the right beam. Instead the left peak seems to be level with the right peak. So in reality, left is too high here.

Ignoring the alignment, it seems that the left beam is definitely weaker. I agree, check the bulb and socket. Then take a look at the lens. Something is not right.

For the sake of education, why are the headlights designed to look like this?

Completely off topic I apoligize, but look at those orbs on those pics... just the way mine looked after some cemetery photography. That looks like a religious school.

exactly the left beam is weak and cuts off short. from other peoples hids their beam spreads way more than that.. i checked to see if it is seated correctly and even changed the bulb and it does the same for both.. i looked inside and dont see any blockage or anything. i am going to try switch ballast

For LHD cars, the headlights dip on the left (driver's) side to prevent "blinding" of oncomming traffic. You're tryiing to light up the road (which is down), and avoid putting too much light in people's eyes (which are up).
