Default Need help removing rear bumper...

Can anyone help to describe how to take off/install a rear bumper? I'm debating whether or not to let the dealer do it, but I'm currently on an "extended vacation" and have the time. Too late to order a Helm, as the new bumper will arrive in a few days.

Thanks!

Try an "advanced search". I just answered this same question like a week or two ago. Try "Bumper" and "Utah S2K"......should be of some help.

Gracias, Utah S2K.

BTW, in the other post you said that you'd recommend the Service manual only for the "average mechanic." what do you mean? I'd love to be able to do all my own work, is the manual detailed enough or not enough? Thanks again!

If you know your way around mechanically at all you should be OK. Know what a torque wrench is.....you passed first test. Know when your in over your head (i.e. special tools required) you passed 2nd test. There was actually a guy here recently (won't name), PM help requested, who emptied his tranny and then wanted to know where the "engine" oil went in!!!! True story!!!
