Hey guys, well my diff went out couple of months ago, and waiting for the insureance to see if they cover my damage. Which now they dont want to pay for the damage ( have full coverage). I looked at the diff housing and there is nothing that looks wrong, so my guessing are the inner diff took a crap on me. So I was wondering where could i get a new diff? I would like to get a built diff with 4.57 gears, comptech housing. It would be great help if someone could point me to the right direction.

What is your budget? If it were me I would go to a local junkyard and grab one of those diffs. Even though you don't know the condition of it it is worth it for how much you will pay for it.

 

Yeah.. i can go to a junk here and get one, but then again i would never know how the condition would be. I got a guy here who is honda service guy who could do the installing for me. I'll pay for a whole core diff if i have to. I just miss driving my car. Its a MY00 w/ 56k so i rarely drive it before, but now i need it since its my dd (work car). I sold my turbo kit so i can get my diff fix. I rather have a moving car, then a boosted car that stands still lol.
