Advice on options? Replace the rear or get a full set of 4?

Do i need an alignment after all is said and done?
Should i just use the same springs that they come with. I see people talk about the swift spec springs. Is that just for lowering?
OEM is discontinued. I purchased Tein and reused the same springs. I only changed the one damper (I'm waiting for the others to fail, but have a full set)

You probably won't need an alignment, but it's good to get your alignment checked in case someone loosened the wrong bolt.

Wait, you replaced a stock shock with a coilover, but only one shock? Left all the others stock?

Swapped stock spring onto coilover? Surprised spring diameter matched. Coilover damping rate tuned for spring w 2x rate cs stock.

This doesn't seem safe in any way. Did I read it wrong?

I gave the link, but I should have specified that there are multiple options on that page. I bought the Endura Pro [OE Shape] Damper Kit. This is an exact replacement for the original dampers, and you just reuse the original springs. My left and right are perfectly balanced.

i.e. I did NOT buy the Tein coilovers.

Not too many (or any?) good reviews of these Endura Pro OEM replacements for the S2k.

Really wonder how they ride, handling characteristics, etc. And, of course, their build-quality, durability, longevity, etc.; especially compared to similar products like Koni, Bilstein, etc.

I kinda have a feeling they might not be as good quality as Koni or Bilstein... just by its' much much cheaper price for an entire set (it's like half the cost, or even less than half, lol).

Oh,I didn't notice those. Never heard of them. Wondering why not more popular with the I just want stock like replacements crowd.

The price listed is for single shock, or a pair? $500 for one shock would be...a lot.

that is a good choice. The best OEM stock option is CR dampers with swift SpecR but Swift does say the SpecR is at the upper end of stock (non CR) s2000 dampers for all years. CR is ideal as the stock CR spring rate is very similar and the nearest spring rate to specR (about 400 lbin iirc).

No, I don't think it's $500 for one shock. That also wouldn't make any sense at all; as you could just get pretty good coilovers for $2k.

Google it... multiple vendors list it as $455-550'ish for an Entire Full-Set Kit, both front & rear. Crazy right? Even almost half the price of Konis.

Hence... my concern of their build-quality (and also ride, handling characteristics, durability, etc.) compared to Koni or Bilstein, because they're so inexpensive.

Seems too good/cheap to be true.
