Well, yeah just like that. Open up the engine and you'll see markings. I'd look in the shop manual. It'll tell you all about the markings and where they're located.

Page 7-10 in the manual. Markings are on the crank itself. Looks like the engine's got to come apart before you can buy bearings.

Are you looking for the codes in general or the code for YOUR motor. The whole point of the color codes is that each engine is unique. You buy the bearing to match YOUR engine.

I could tell you the color codes for my engine but, they'd be wrong for yours. There is no "use yellow on all rods" color code.

If you don't get this fact, I surely wouldn't try tearing into a motor. If you have a rod knock, it might take more than new bearings to fix it too.

Why not replace it with the same rod bearing size as was in there before? The only reason you'd need to go with an oversized bearing is if the crank is worn out. I'd replace ALL the bearings while I was at it. You probably ran it low on oil and all the bearings are damaged.

Oversize rod and main bearings are not available from Honda. The colored bearing shells are standard size. No other sizes are available.
