Need some advice on how to replace Lug bolts onS2K
Ok, so I need to replace a lug bolt on the front driver side of my S2K. I understand the whole process of how to do it, because I've done this on other cars as well. But Im having a little bit of trouble figuring out how in the hell Im gonna get the spindle nut loose from the hub since its the backside of the hub intstead of the front side of the hub!!! How do you get it loose?? I mean I have a Snap On impact ratchet that will easily do 60ft lbs. Which isn't bad for a ratchet. However its also a 3/8" drive which Im having a hell of a time finding a shallow enough impact socket to get in that little ass space to break the spindle nut with. So here are my questions below.
1. Will an impact ratchet with 60ft. lbs. of drive be enough to break the spindle nut free?? And if yes, how tight do I have to retight the spindle nut down to the hub??
2. If not how the hell do I get it loose???
3. Does anyone know what size the spindle nut is?? Im guessing either 34mm, or 36mm. Which one?? or which other one??
4. Can anyone post, pm, or e-mail, a picture of there Helms manual removal-installation of the hub removal for the front passenger side of the S2K???
Thanks for all of your help guys. My life has been a nightmare this last week trying to get everything done on this car.

1. An impact wrench of 60 lb/ft will not do it. The front spindle nut requires in excess of 240 lb/ft to tighten and the rear needs the newly revised torque of 220. You shouldn't try to take off these nuts with something that you cannot put them back on with.
2. You get these loose by using a long breaker bar on your socket. You'll need a large torque wrench to get them back on.
3. You need a 36mm axle nut socket to get that off, at least 1/2" drive.
Im sorry about the post. Im trying to get the spindle nut loose from the front of the car. The front passenger side. I have an impact wrench that is good up to 350 ft. lbs. and a Snap-On torque wrench that is good up to 250 ft. lbs. So is there anyway you can tell me exactly how many ft. lbs it needs to be torqued to?? And do you think that I could get an impact wrench in there by turning the wheel??, becuase clearance does seem to be an issue. Thanks again
You do realize that the spindle nut has a "shroud" lip that is dented in at one point (to prevent accidental loosening)? You "undent" it. A 36mm axle nut socket should fit. The exact torque for the front spindle nut is 242.
