Default New Clutch Problems

I have a MY01 with a nearly brand new OEM clutch system installed (PP, disc, T/O bearing) with an aftermarket flywheel and I am having a persistent problem. This was installed a few months back (i believe august) and I am having this odd issue of the pedal being extremely stiff at times. It will shift and engage just fine but its only a few inches of engagement before the pedal hit what feels to be a stop halfway through. If I push with just alittle more force i can get the pedal all the way to the ground. I thought this was a hydraulic issue but I replaced both the CMC and the slave cylinder with no real results. It does seem to function well right after it is bled but a few weeks into driving it will start to stiffen up.
Could it be something installed wrong or not lubricated? I have plenty of grease on the point where the rod on the slave cylinder touches the fork. I was hoping it would be a simple issue before taking it back to where it was serviced. It is adjusted quite high with the rod on the pedal having only a few threads into it. Could it be I have it adjusted way to high? Anyways Im stumped, halp!

Take it back. My guess would be that they either didn't grease the splines on the input shaft (which the throwout bearing rides on) or you have a problem with your pressure plate. Either way, they will have to drop the tranny.

What could be wrong with the pressure plate? Its brand new! My guess is though the guide was probably not so good and they over looked it. As well as not greasing the spline like you said. Im trying to avoid them jacking me around and charging me for labor, I dont mind paying for parts. But I know many shops like to act like everything was done right to avoid destroying there rep. Also I daily my car and its cold and rainy for once in houston, really the worst possible time to shop it. Plus turkey day is next thursday. It is a somewhat well known performance shop that work on WAY more expensive things than my car.

..But they forgot to give me back the boot that goes over the clutch fork.. And forgot a few nuts on the transmission mount. Red flag anybody? LOL..
