Default new noise....

Hey guys..I know you hear these all the time so i will keep this as much to the point as possible. just got back to my car a few weeks ago- the day after i get home i notice a sound almost like your rolling your tongue (clicking noise) when the car was under load- goes away around 4k when the rest of the engine noise drowns it out. here is what i have had done so far to get rid of the noise..

synthetic oil change
valve adjustment (only one valve was out of spec)
new stock plugs

noise is still there. barely audible at idle- the noise is their only there during throttle. example- i can be applying gas and be around 3k- if i let off the gas (like going to brake) the noise goes away, but soon as i apply throttle its right back. I thought it was the timing chain tensioner- but from what i have searched apparantly that is more of a clattering noise and only when the car is at idle.

any help would be much appreciated!

p.s. video will be up soon

Maybe try using a Mechanic's stethoscope to isolate the noise. With the valve lash just recently done maybe the nut on the adjusting screw backed off. Hard to say without hearing anything.

Have you been able to find the general area of the noise?

I wonder if it is some sort of bearing going out. Have you taken to car in to have it looked at?
