That doesn't seem to make sense. Wouldn't you want to increase oil pressure? If oil pressure is low, our car won't Vtec. Oil pressure is good.

These do look like an improvement over the old filters, but for $10 I'll stick with Hamp.

Check out this page from H and A. These are the filters for the other hondas (not the S2000) but an interesting comparison.

I just put on one of the new filters and it was significantly smaller in diameter. I specifically asked the parts guy if they were for an S2000 and he said they were. I checked to make sure the rubber seals had similar diameter (they did) and it seemed to drive home fine, but I'm curious if I got the right filter since the pic above does not indicate a change in diameter for the S2000 filter.

Hmmmm.

If the Honda dealer sells you a filter that is dramatically smaller in diameter, they sold you the wrong filter, regardless of what they say, and I would not use it!

My pic is very clear, the old and the new are the same size.

my dealer is selling each filter for a little under $7.00 your better off buying a case of hamp filters
