i just puchased my second S2000 with it I had the dealer ship add to the deal some extra goodies: comptech supercharger, copmtech exhaust, eibach springs, an xbrace and tower brace. My question is this, what can i expect from these mods and where do i go from here.


P.S. I am not a mechanical genius so please be very descript.

 

you can expect to not be able to fully utilize the potential of your car and be less likely to understand why your car gets out of control when you make a mistake.

supercharger: more power, bog down low.
exhaust: more power w/ the SC, weight savings
springs: who knows?
xbrace: less body flex, but harder to tell when you're close to the limits. This means when you're about to lose control it will be harder to tell than on a stock car. I expect the springs to exacerbate the situation as well.
tower brace: waste of moola.

where to go from here (or where you really should've started): DRIVER EDUCATION, alignment, brakes, DRIVER EDUCATION and some driver education. don't forget to educate yourself. Like GI Joe says, "knowing is half the battle."

i have plenty of driving skills una.... i just needed a little more guidence on what would be the best way to go next. when im done with all my performance mods im going to start on the look.

The fastest can be remedied by a smaller SC pulley (4.25" I believe or correct me please) along with fuel managment upgrades and tuning, this is assuming that other SC s2k's are running comptech recommended boost in your area which even then you still might not be the fastest s2k in that area. Talk to wesmaster or randy1 for upgrading your SC package, they have experience as they both have SC on theirs. For best sounding s2k is all in opinion. I think the best sounding is using MB quartz component system for replacing door speakers and added tweeters. I'm not much for the booming bass but one JL or subwoofer of your preference will add the extra bass but if your into the big bass thing then add two or three . IMO simple and clean is the best route for looks and sound.

Keep a few extra pennies in the piggy bank for a new clutch, new rear diff, new CV joints and lots of new tires.

 

You might even new to go so far as to make a new bank account for "Future parts i'm going to break"

With all that I would invest in a reputable alarm system also.
