Default Newb question Help me out

Hey guys I just bought a 2004 black s2k . Just had a question about some vibration. The only thing that is bothering me is that the engine shakes\ vibrates slightly when the car is idle. I can feal the the car shaking while sitting in it to. Is this normal for the s2ks ? Dont flame me im a newb .

COMPLETELY normal for s2k's......and it doesnt really matter how old or new the car is. It has happened to peeps with less than 5k. There are some ways to help treat the rough idle u are experiencing. If it bothers u enough that u want to try to fix it u can check out these threads and they should help u out.

Is it normal ?

I do not notice this on my MY05 and I am a little allergic to those vibrations, so I would have noticed

Of course it will not idle as smooth as a Lexus V8, but the very little unstable running does not bother me at all, you almost can't feel it.

Yeah my freinds 01 doesnt vibrate as hard as mine and you can feal it when you sit in his car. . The idle is at 900 rpm to. When i look at the engine i can see it shaking a little.

My 02 doesn't shake and I have had if for 4 years.

Mine doesn't shake either. Check your engine mounts, they are fluid filled.

there is some vibration normally, but if it is an abnormal amount of vibration, this is most likely the culprit.
