Default newb with a "sound question"

im new to s2k and had mine for about a week now. i love it.
ive read a lot, so im assuming this is "normal" in the AP1.

Whenever i decelerate, i notice the noise coming from the transmission is so loud from within the cabin when im driving. I know that the drivetrain sits right under the area of the shifter and probably is equating to the sound im hearing.

I feel like they should have put some dynamat or something in this area if this is typical.

Is this typical or something to be concerned about?

I just had a complete ACT kit installed in mine with lightened flywheel - mine is absolutely horrible... but the Skunk2 exhaust installed drowns it out completely
