*shrug* it really doesn't matter if it's real or if it's hype, spark plugs will be obsolete within a few years anyway.

isn't this like the Jacob's products, only in a plug?

capacitive discharge ignition

it stores energy then releases it in multiple pulses?

Seems inovative to me. I am guessing that you would have to retard the ignition timing a few degees due to the faster ignition. Any pressure built up before TDC would inhibit piston movement. Any thoughts on this?

Clearly I was referring to regular gas.. I was asking if that is what they were refering too...

With the right sensors and direct injection, it is possible. But reliable, is another question..
