Default Ngk 7746?

so i accidentally bought the ngk 7746 instead of the 7772, was wondering if it would affect my stock ap1 with jdm motor if i ran the iridium vs the recommended platinum?

My personal opinion is that you can run it without issues. I run the NGK IX series of iridium plugs and I have never experienced any issues. The iridium center electrode is superior to the platinum version IMO, resisting erosion over time and maintaining a more consistent gap. But you will read posts about the oem plug being the only thing you should run

I've been running 7746s since June '14. Works fine.
