Default nitrous install complete (nos kit)

- yea I know there is a thread in 'the gallery' but it wasn't completed at that time...
- the point of this thread is for anyone searching for nitrous/nos

List of things:
- NOS direct port kit squeezing ~80-85 shot with STOCK fuel pump
- NOS purge valve, modified for dual purge
- NOS remote bottle opener, hooked up to my roof switch to open/close the bottle
- MSD window switch that opens the solenoids at 4k rpm and closes them at 8800rpm

Very clean install indeed! I am surprised you still have that front lip attatched as low as you are. I can see if that was a race ready track car but as an everyday driver on public roads. . . . all I can say is

- thanks guys

- I spent about $900 on the direct port kit, purge kit, and bottle opener.
- another $83.95 for the MSD window switch, pills were provided by someone off the board
- there were some LITTLE things (of course) that had to be purchased... teflon paste, t-fitting for the fuel line, fitting for dual purge, purge tubing, etc.

How about the reliability? I heard NOS will destroy your motor in a very short time??

How did you wire the open/close to your roof switch? Can you still lower and raise your convertable top?
