Default nitrous module

I am the second owner of a MY01 nfr. I recently found a Venom VCN-1000 nitrous module in my engine bay buried beneath the wires/tubes in the bay. I am ashamed to say that i've owned the car for over 6 years, driven about 75k miles in that time as a daily driver and never noticed it there before. I never had any major problems until I had to have the head rebuilt last September. I never ran any nitrous so it is safe to assume that it was left in there from the previous owner. I am not familiar with nitrous systems. Should I leave the module installed or should it be removed? Is there any benefit to it? If I were to run nitrous one day would it be easier? Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Is it possible for you to take a pic of it? I'd like to see exactly where it was hidden.

generally speaking, Venom brand nitrous products are junk.

if you plan to go with bottle, do it right. NX or better.

stay away from NOS brand, the purge solenoid on my NX kit was bigger then the fuel and n20 noids on the same NOS kit. There is a reason NX is more expensive.

trash the venom or sell it

If it is doing nothing, get rid of it.

Im not sure what its actually hooked up to honestly. I'm afraid if I do remove it may possibly mess something up???? I looked at this link when i googled it: http://www.summitracing.com/search/p...ous-oxide-kits

It says it adjusts fuel flow. Not sure if it is actually doing so to my car since there aren't any bottles hooked up.

Thanks for the info. Will most likely sell it.
