Default No Start...

I am having a problem with my car. the car would not crank over but I here a relay inside the car and inside the engine bay when I click the start button. Also I hear the fuel pump pumping when I push the button too.
I pulled the starter out and took it to AutoZone to get it tested, the starter passes the test...
Now im stuck on to what it can be. Before I took the starter out, I would let the car sit overnight and try to start it, it still wouldnt start. The car ONLY starts if I push start it, I tried jumping the battery with another car but still nothing.

Any help would be great. thanks

Your battery is dead, put in another battery.

I drove the car from where the problem happend to home which is like 10 miles, and when I got home it still wouldnt crank over. I turned my music on and my lights don't dim either or anything. When the problem happend in front of my store, the car cranked over once then stopped.

easiest thing is to have the battery load tested. next up after that is to remove all battery cables and ground wires and clean all contact points. then remove the starter and have it tested (which you have already done).

th battery connections look good, no corrosion or anything. changed the battery also and still no luck. Is there a certain wire that controls the starter from under the dash or anything like a relay?

Intermittent failure with the starter, contacts inside are getting dirty, solenoids sticking.

Next time it doesn't start, grab your wheel wrench, stick it under the intake manifold (by the heater hoses), and hit/tap (not too hard). See if it will start.

if your battery has just one bad cell it could give these problems, it wouldn't have the amps to start it, that or your starer selinoild is bad.

Bad Grounds sounds like a good strategy. check yer big grounds, from under the car, by the clutch, driver side.

Also, battery check is in order.
