Default Is this Noise Normal for Early AP1s?

I have a 2001 and it makes a noise when I am cruising at any speed with 5-10% throttle. If I get my foot off the gas pedal, the noise disappears. Its like a whirring noise. This happens at any RPM. I thought clutch buzz was only when there's a rattle noise after letting off gas pedal completely... Right?

Anyone ever had this noise? Is it normal and should i worry?

I don't know of any whirling noise; however, clutch buzz is only on deceleration, completely letting the gas off while still in gear. It only happens at a certain RPM, I think between 4.5k-2.5k (I'm not totally sure).

Clutch buzz happens only on deceleration, in my MY01 normally happens in 2nd and 3rd gear from 4500RPM to 2500RPM. I cant remember if it does in 4th as last time I drove my car was in October. (Hate winter)

Any moment you press on the gas, even if for a very subtle touch, the buzz goes away.

You mention 5%-10% throttle, so I am assuming you are referring to a different source for the noise.

Yeah I have that noise too, between 3-4k rpm sounds faint high pitch, only happens under light throttle. Has been with the car since I got it and hasn't worsened and wasn't very intrusive so I never thought anything of it.

I doubt it's the intake. I still think it has to do with transmission
