Default Is this normal?

When my car is in 1st gear on a slight incline in traffic and going at 3-4 mph, there is a grinding/clicking sound. Same thing occurs in 2nd gear around 6 mph or less. Does anyone know what could be wrong or is this considered normal.

no its not normal, is it coming from the rear of the car? Could be a loose rear hub nut, get the wheel taken off and get the hub nut tightened to 220lbs. Otherwise could be diff, gearbox, clutch. Most likely the hub nut though. I wouldn't be using 2nd gear at 6mph, you may find you are lugging the gearbox.

The sound comes from right beneath of my feet. I think it may be the axle? I don't normally drive at 6 mph in 2nd its just that I was going to a stop and the grind occurs. Also the grind sounds more like multiple clicks maybe 4 or 5.

Hey, I also am hearing a roaring/grinding sound from the rearend. The closest I can pinpoint it is on the rear drivers side. It usually only occurs while coasting, or very low load situations. I hear it in the cabin really good with the top up but don't notice it with the top down, maybe feel a vibration though. Was wondering if I may have the same disease?
