Default Normal sound of our engine
What's the normal sound for our engine? I hear a tap tap tap comming from it but i dunno what level, if at all, a normal F20C has.

I have a rapid tap coming from mine also. I thought the Royal Purple oil I started using would cure it but no such luck. Just add it to the list of sounds our cars make...

It's normal to be able to hear the valves tapping. This doesn't mean yours arn't tapping too loudly though. Need to get someone who knows to listen, and make sure you have enough oil.

you are probably hearing the fuel injectors pulse. them being a little noisy is perfectly normal.

It does seem to be the injectors. damn those things are loud i thought something was wrong with my car. As you can tell, I don't drive it often with the top on. Now I can hear everything.
