Notchy shifter
Hi,
New to site!! Just bought a 2006 S2K. Noticed that shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear is a little notchy, sometimes sharp click and grabs. Took it to dealer and the service manager drove it and said it is fine.
Anybody else noticed this?? If so, what can be done!!

Rev higher before shifting. You are driving a vtec now. Run her like the beast she is!
another thing you can try, is take it through vtec 1-2 gears and afterwards, it should shift alot smoother into gears.

My '05 shifts into 2nd very hard when it's cold, but once it's warmed up it feels like the trany is made out of warm chocolate pudding. mmmmm.
Our transmission shifts smoother at higher revs, and not so much at lower revs.
Try shifting slower when it's cold to allow the synchros time to slow down the trany. Then when it's warmed up you shouldn't be shifting lower then 6K anyway
