when you consider that the car has been produced for almost 8 years now, people get a lot of mileage. Every kind of car has problems.

On a side note, the only problems i have had are resultant of either me or previous owners hooking up the car. besides that, the car is perfect. looks good too.

60k miles and not a problem, save for the fact that I need to replace the rear tires again

I also read all these threads about the various issues with the S2000 and have my own theory - most issues are with pre-owned cars or with owners that drive it like you stole it types. I have 17K miles on my 05 and it keeps getting better and better. This has got to be the best car out of the 10 cars I've owned - I had an 84 4Dr Accord for more than 224K miles. I also own an 07 Acura TL-S that is fantastic.

don't see it so close minded, the s2k has it share of recall and faulty item just like ALL the cars.

some people learn to live with it and some people don't, and the forum is here for the people that wonders what is the cause and what's their option.

i mean i am not going to keep my mouth shut and pretend there's nothing wrong just be keep the forum looks good.

80k, small map sensor issue one time around 35k. That's it. Car is maintained very well.

In comparison to the cars that come into my regular shop, the s2k is the most indestrutible car on earth.
