Default OBD II and a Laptop

Has anyone actually used the OBD II software on a laptop on the S2000? I have seen a few posts here about the software but not sure anyone has ventured into actually using it. Looks very interesting and could be big fun!

Yup, I used it to check codes for a fellow S2k owner. I also use it for fun... I think I am going to log my dyno runs sometime this week, if it would stop raining!

For fun, what have you done with it? Have you done anything with the "digital dashboard" functions. Are you able to monitor oil pressure and coolant temp realtime?

Same with me. I use it mostly for fun. Air intake and coolant temp are the monitor points I've used the most. I had a problem with the engine shutting off randomly in my Odyssey. I used the software and found out it had nothing to do with the ECU. I spent a couple of hours checking it out with the OBDII. Of course, if I hadn't had the software I would've figured it out in about 10 minutes.

So which software package are y'all using? I've got a laptop that's going to be (semi)-permanently mounted in my S2K shortly, and I'd love to 'play' with it...

Ohh, that's gonna be sweet to run on my Libretto! Now I'm all stoked about the project! This'll be great for testing out homebrew cooling mods...
