Default Occasional stalling / MAP sensor?

I've had some occasional stalls when stopping hard. I've read about MAP sensor and I think cleaning out some sort of ICV valve? The car is 20 years old now around 60k miles. Any advice?

Probably the idle control valve more than the map sensor but easy to check both. If you are removing the map sensor clean the orifice that goes from the bottom of the sensor down into the throttle bore with some kind of pressurized cleaner.
