Default Odd issue..

My car has too much stuff on it but..

I was pulling hard on an in ramp and the car hit a bump and bottomed a bit. All of a sudden the EPS light came on (steering was stiff at low speeds) , the speedo was reading zero, MIL came on and the engine cut out a little.

Since the MIL was not blinking and I was headed to the lake I babied it and said I would deal with it later.

Parked the car, came back an hours later. EPS light was off and speedo was working again. Drove soft for a few days and the MIL eventually went off?

Car is purring as normal no issues?

Anyone think of something?

This happened again. What is causing it is a hard acceleration to redline.

Then the Speedo stops working, EPS light comes on and eventually a MIL. When I restart the car the Speedo and EPS are fix and with in 20 miles the MIL clears.

2 for 2? The most recent thing installed since this started happening was Modifry Speedo Calibrator and spark plugs..

This is very odd... Maybe there was an issue when installing the speedo calibrator, such as a crimped/stripped wire that is now grounding out as the voltage rises? I am not exactly sure how they work.

If it's not too hard, and assuming this happens pretty much every time you floor it to redline, I'd disconnect the speedo calibrator and go for a quick run. If it works fine, then you found your culprit.

Also maybe double check all your spark plug wires, though it doesn't sound like it is related to them.
