I would try having yours cleaned first. If they are just trashed you could either buy new ones or source used ones. If used I would have them cleaned before installing though

I am a strong believer that a fuel injection system is not maintanance free. Especially when the car sits over winter. Therefore, after almost 100 000 Km / 60 000 Miles i have sent the injectors to the very trutsworthy company Hurst Injector Service:
https://www.hurstinjectorservice.com/
The owner, Paul, is also around at the "Bob is the oil guy Forum", his screen name there is "Trav". He has a extremly good reputation there and he once cleaned injectors for me wich a few german companys failed to clean properly.

To my big surprise, he told me that one of the Injectors of my S2000 is faulty, beyond repair. He told me that most likely the spring inside is broken. While the injector works (sort of..) it could fail at one point in the future and "Dump fuel in the cylinder". I am glad that i have done the service. As the other three Injectors are as good as new with low miles, i simply followed his advice and bought one new injector and will install it together with the celaned ones. Will see.

You sent yours from Germany to Massachusetts?

Never considered cleaning mine until reading this thread. Figured this is a "If it ain't broke" item but am reconsidering.

If you are in Europe I would highly recommend using Finjector for servicing or anything other injector related.
They do rest of the world as well but shipping might not be worth it.
