I can't seem to find any info on what the oem dimensions for the seats are. Both google search and thread search turned up threads about either the rails or aftermarket seats, but not the original ones. So, if anyone knows the length, width, and height, preferably for an AP1 seat, could you let me know.

 

The seats aren't a rectangular box with a simple L W, & H. They are a complex shape. So where the measurements are taken is going to have a lot to do with the results. Which could make the results meaningless.

It would help greatly if you could explain what you need these numbers for. Like if for shipping, you'd want the largest point of each of these dimensions (because you are trying to fit it into a simple, rectangular box). Or if you want to see if your butt will fit, you want the minimum 'interior' specs for each dimension. Or maybe you want to see of the seats will fit in some other car.

What you want to do with these numbers is gonna help figure out what, and where,to measure.

 

I'm curious what the largest point-to-point exterior measurements are for length, width, and height for shipping reasons. Mainly, the longest distance from the front of the seat to the back is what I'm interested in but since I couldn't find any concrete numbers on the other sizes (width and height) I figured to try asking for all three dimensions.

 

You shipping or receiving? I see old forum posts noting shipping costs of $150/seat -- they're big. Perhaps disassembled and heavily shrink wrapped (no box) and shipped via Grayhound Package Express (bus)?
