OEM Spark Plugs: NGK or Denso
NGK moved manufacturing to China. I guess to avoid part delays, and the fact they're still made in Japan, Honda simply changed supplier. It's fine as long as it's made to spec, and being a Japanese company with manufacturing in Japan they can keep a better eye on quality control, and less supply volatility.
Thanks. Appears they're physically made in the PRC - The Peoples Republic of. Heck many Taiwan companies (ROC - The Republic of) have moved their production from Taiwan to the mainland for the cheaper labor. So much for any "quality" perceptions of ROC over PRC. Or India or Thailand or ...

Denso is great. There are many Denso parts on our cars and we all agree that they are really high quality with long lasting performance. NGK is of course great too. It's cool to see Denso plugs being supplied by the dealer in Honda boxes though. I would happily run them if I were running stock heat range. It's said that Denso Iridium power plugs have the edge over NGK Iridium in performance but I have yet to experience it. Toyota specs Denso or NGK. Honda would work equally well with either. I've got a set of new Denso Iridium long life SK20 plugs for my 4AGE 20 Valve ready to go when I change the NGK PFR7's out
