Default OEM Tonneau cover

Just bought a used tonneau cover for my 03. It seem like it dosen't fit correctly, like the two rear snap buttons dosen't reach the clip on the roller bar. It seem like the convertible top completely down but the tonneau doesn't sit flush in the rear. Wondering if there are two different type for the 99-01 and the 02 to present date?

It's hard to install. Make sure everything is tucked in and then seat the snaps last. Don't try and reach under the cover and set it. Just push on the top crease above each catch and they'll engage on their own.

it seem like the two clips didn't want to connect. Afraid if I push any harder I'll brake the rear glass.

I don't know for sure as I'm not there. It is a pain to install, and most just don't use it. I've used mine 3 times, and every time was for photos.

Make sure your top is going all the way down. Instances of cold morning weather will cause the top to go only 95% of the way down.

It takes a little practice to get the right technique. Once you do, it's easy. I can put mine on or take it off in about one minute.
