Default ohlins coilovers height adjustment

If i already had the car corner balanced. if i lowered one inch would or how bad would it throw the balance off? i'm at stock height or higher now. and i do have the rear spacers if needed. thanks for your help in advance.

If you do a good job of measuring heights and drop it evenly, it'll be fine. You'll have to realign it of course.

If you could manage to lower all 4 corners the exact same, the balance would theoretically remain the same. The likelihood of doing that is next to impossible. It will throw off the corner balance (and alignment like stated above).

I wouldn't say next to impossible. I've done this using a tape measure many times, corner balance did not change. Just get an alignment done afterwards.

You could count the number of turns on the adjusting ring of the Ohlins to ensure you lower each corner the same amount. Use a Sharpie to color in one of the indentations for the adjusting wrench so you don't get lost . I'd be surprised if that didn't leave it pretty close to where it started with regard to the corner balance. But a 1" drop will mean you'll need to adjust both camber and toe at both ends.

this is what i figured. but for the price for the corner balance and alignment. it's a flat fee either way. if only i had a level piece of driveway i would just eat the cost and buy the scales myself.
