Oil catch cans: worth it?

You really don't need any, but one is better than none and two is better than one.

If you are only going to do one and you are turbo'd or SC, put it on the front vent.

And hope your PCV valve doesn't stick open under boost. If you put in the KrankVent, you won't have to worry about this.

I'm not a mechanic, nor do I have extensive motor knowledge. So please don't flame me. But will you loose any vacuum pressure with two catch cans? Or one for that matter? And if so, will it affect the motor or performance? I want to get two catch cans.

I read your thread and I read the web site descrition of how it works and I am still at a loss to understand how this thing can create negative pressure in the crank case. I think I understand that it is a one way valve and I understand that a one way valve won't let the atmospheric or manifold pressure back into the crank, but how does it create negative pressure???

They are cheaper than Greddy and a better design.
If I am understanding the Jaz can correctly, it is really a breather to the atmosphere. Therefore, it would be an illegal modification of the car's pollution control system for state inspection purposes and an illegal modification of the PCV system for SCCA Autocross purposes. The Greddy and Cusco are sealed units that maintaim the circuit to the intake and catch "vapor" while seperating liquid. Please let me know if I am wrong about this as I like the look of the Jaz unit.
