Default Oil change Needed?

I did an oil change, then put the car away for the winter.
In a month I should have it back on the road.
Do I need to change oil with no mileage run on it?

thanks,

Depends on the condition the car is stored in.

If you have enough condensation / humidity in the air, the oil may be degraded even not driven on the road.

With that said, normally a month or two should be no problem...

in a way i would do it if you have a couple of bucks to spend, do it.. it couldnt hurt. Having the car sitting on unused oil for couple of months is okay. but generally id do do an oil change if i could and if its not hurting my wallet why not.

I do start it once a month and run it for 15 minutes.

Just remembered the dealer changed that oil with ha;f synthetic and I used all synthetic. Maybe that's a good reason alone??

Don't know.

Actually the car needs a new battery and new tires, so I am being a bit cheap

How long was it stored for? A few months should be okay.

Total storage time would be less than 4 months.

You are okay for that amount of time. No need to change your oil. That is like just pouring oil out of your 5qt jug because it just sat on garage shelf for four months.

Like you said, you run it for 15 minutes a month, I would prefer that be once a week or 2 though. Secondly, if it was my S, I wouldn't change the oil again, just check oil levels and make sure that the oil doesn't look extremely black (wesley snipes black).

Condensation in the oil is the biggest problem. I'd change it... It's not that expensive and doesn't take much time.
